Selene
Selene is a mobile application where users can edit their photos with AI by inpainting and then entering a prompt. Users can start editing from scratch or can use premade templates that are prepared to give the best possible results.

Problem
Majority of AI photo editing apps offer many features and overload their interfaces with too many options but not giving enough guidance to make it easier for users to learn how to use the app effectively. Poor or complex UI design leads to inefficiencies for users to find important tools and features.
Solution
Selene has a clean, intuitive interface with easy access to essential tools. It was developed and designed based on a simple painting technique so that users can achieve any type of output they want. Users are supported with tutorials whenever they come across a new tool inside the app.
User Personas
Selenet's target user base is very wide. The common point that all these users have in common is getting the output they want easily. Below are user examples in 3 different categories. The design should be made to appeal to all users.
Social Media Influencers
Goal
To create visually appealing content and maintain a consistent aesthetic.
Expectations
Access to tools that can optimize the photos they share to fit trends and make the posts they share interesting for collaborations.
Photographers
Goal
To achieve a consistent style and make photos attractive by fixing defective areas in photos.
Expectations
An easy way to eliminate or replace objects that disrupt the visual hierarchy.
Individual Entrepreneurs
Goal
To market their products and making them visually appealing to increase sales.
Expectations
Easily access the backgrounds that will reveal their products and easily combine these backgrounds with product photos.
Empathy Map
I use an empathy map as a collaborative visual tool to express what I know about a particular kind of user. It helps me synthesize my research data and better understand how individuals make decisions.
